Yoga for Stress Relief

Clear a space in your life for well being and balance. In this 2 part 90 minute workshop, we will explore variations on yoga postures that can help to release tension in the areas where the body most often carries tension: the neck, shoulders, back and hips. Class will also include restorative and supported poses, as well as guided breath-work to quiet the emotions. Although some knowledge of yoga is helpful, this class is appropriate for practitioners of all levels.
Workshop fee: $20 for both days

New to Yoga Workshop
For the inexperienced and also for those looking to refine and re-examine their practice!
Instructed by Peter Bodge
Wednesdays 5:15 – 6:30 pm
Over five weeks, we will discuss the basic equipment (mat, block, etc.), class etiquette and dynamics, and some guidelines to protect yourself from injury as you explore yoga classes. You will sample some basic postures and breathing techniques. Emphasis will be on answering your questions so you can choose confidently an appropriate class for you.
