The Program

The POTEGP Instructor-training program is an experiential and theoretical course designed to prepare each student on safe and ethical practices in instructing classes in yoga and meditation.  You will be introduced to ancient traditions, concepts and tools that lead to embodiment of wisdom, balance, contentment, and everlasting peace.

The courses primary focus is the study of Sadhana Vinyasa Yoga, Sadhana Hatha Yoga, P-Jhana Meditation, P-Insight Meditation, Pranayama, Kriya, Bodywork (experiential anatomy and creative approach to movement/alignment) and POTEGP principles. In addition for some who have the innate desire, there will be sessions available with the permission of the instructor on Mystic healing through aura balancing (i.e. reiki, chakra, kundalini) and Druid healing (i.e. herbology, food as medicine,and  balance).

The program encourages you to find your own voice and teach based on your own direct experiences and wisdom. When you become an instructor and practitioner you are part of a tradition.

Students will also be introduced to workshops that include; restorative yoga, partner yoga, inversions and MORE!

Our Next Training Sessions Runs Nov. 2nd – June 7th with the Final Graduation Retreat June 10-14th, 2015.

Sessions meet weekly on Sundays 9 am – 3 pm (excluding a few holidays)

Program cost $3,000 (Rates cover 200hrs of training with Yoga Alliance Certified Lead Instructors, a curriculum course book, final retreat (includes meals & dorms) and certification)
